We will go to the Shiga International Association to research the problems faced by foreigners living in Shiga Prefecture and develop a web application.
What you will learn: GitHub, Docker, group development skills, problem solving
Students will read technical books such as Introduction to Large Language Models and An introduction to the philosophy of artificial intelligence to deepen their understanding and enrich their research ideas.
After meeting with Professor Murakami to finalize the research topic, we will begin our research!
Students will continue their research, which began in the spring semester of their junior year, and will write their thesis starting in December. The graduation thesis will be presented at the end of the program.
The Social Intelligence Laboratory hosts a variety of events.
This year, we have prepared many events and are also looking for new event ideas
Since there are people of many nationalities in this laboratory, we hold tea parties on an irregular basis, bringing sweets and teas from different countries.
Last year, we held the event at the famous Settsukyo Gorge in Ibaraki City. A small stream runs nearby, and some students even waded into the river! It was a fun and memorable time.
We held a cherry blossom viewing party at Expo '70 Commemorative Park. It resulted in further deepening the friendship of the laboratory.
The Social Intelligence Laboratory is a wonderful laboratory where all students, regardless of their grade, get along well!
After being assigned to a laboratory, we hold a welcome party for new students.
