Overall Research

We aim at converting all the intelligence elements in society, such as IoT sensors and actuators, AI software, and crowdsourcing, into web services. We study technologies to combine and collaborate with them, aiming to realize social intelligence that solves real-world problems in society.

The main focus of the laboratory is services computing, which combines web services/clouds/micro-services on the Internet to provide a new way to deliver services. We are conducting research on technologies and methodologies for building new services.

Applying these studies, we are working on cross-cultural collaboration support that enables people from different cultures to work together, contributing to the realization of a multicultural society.
